A very busy couple of months…
We had such an enjoyable and rewarding time inquiring into our family homes. The unit invited the children to share about both their families and their homes. We learnt so much about each other.
Children designed and made a dolls house with puppets of their own family members.
Parents were also invited into the class to present aspects of their family home to the Honey Bees…
This was the icing on the cake! All families who participated, gave top class presentations which enriched our unit of inquiry.
We also learnt the letters i and p in our phonics programme…
And then there was “Peter Pan’s Christmas Adventure”…
We made a homes for Honey Bee and Pipo…
We have started to recognise some numbers and are learning to count in English…
We have also been learning our colours…
By the end of term, we were ready for our Christmas holiday.
We are so proud of the Honey Bees. They have come such a long way since September.
They have learnt and are learning so much.
Thank you also to the parents who are dedicated and supportive in every way!
