It is essential to enrich the curriculum and provide our students with opportunities to experience learning at first hand. To this end, all classes undertake excursions during the course of the year to stimulate their interest and bring their learning alive. We appreciate your support with these activities and require written permission each time the children are taken on an excursion requiring transport. For local visits that are made on foot, we seek your permission annually.

The curriculum is also enriched in other ways that often become some of the children's most abiding memories of their school life. For example, our theatrical productions, which can include all of the elementary children, provide them with an opportunity to grow in confidence, presenting them with challenges that call upon their social, physical and communication skills as well as their creativity in terms of art, music, drama and dance.

The school organises other experiences to broaden the children's experience, such as an archery course, orienteering, and a range of extra-curricular opportunities, which are available to the international school students as well as pupils from other schools. Courses commence in November (subject to the minimum number of participants) and include, for example:
