Admissions

The school offers an international bi-lingual education that respects children’s needs. It is important that families share the aims and philosophy of our school.

Placement in a particular class or year:
Our school does not “stream” or select pupils, so children are placed in a year group or class according to their date of birth. Work within a class is differentiated
to suit the varying abilities present. Extra support is given to those children who are learning English or Italian

Parents whose children may have particular special educational needs should be aware of the challenging nature of the bi-lingual aspect of our school. In such cases,
there may need to be separate consultation with parents, teachers, the Didactical Director and if necessary, external support services.

Dates for Annual Enrolment:
Enrolment to all year groups – Mid January
A specific date will be communicated before Christmas through a circular letter.

Number of pupils per class:
We allow a maximum of 22 pupils per adult.
In the exceptional case that a class has less than 10 pupils, two adjacent classes may be combined as long as the resulting class remains below 22.
