International School Treviso

The wearing of a uniform expresses a sense of belonging to a group or community and fosters a sense of unity and equality. For this reason it is a requirement for all students, from reception to the final year of the middle school, to wear the uniform, which bears our school logo, This logo, representing children of the world united in a global community, was designed by one of the school's pupils and expresses a clear message than reflects our school vision.

One uniform outfit, including a skirt or pair of trousers, a long sleeved polo shirt, a short sleeved polo shirt and a sweatshirt, is provided by the school at the beginning of the year.
Should your child need more clothing items, they can be purchased directly from the school (for further information please refer to the school secretary).

Children in the nursery classes are not required to wear the uniform but will need a change of clothing.

For sports activities children need to have a bag with:
> a warm tracksuit
> shorts and a T-shirt
> outdoor sports shoes / trainers
> light gym shoes for indoor use

Trainers are required for outdoor lessons, whereas children should wear light gym shoes for indoor sessions. Outdoor footwear is not allowed in the gym.

The sports bag may be kept at school during the week but should be taken home at the weekend. Until the children reach an age when they can take full responsibility for remembering their equipment and sports kit, we appreciate parents' help to ensure that children have their sports bag at the start of each week.
