An International Curriculum

At ISTreviso we are committed to preparing children for life in a rapidly changing global community. We want our students to be curious, creative, collaborative and reflective as well as being able to communicate in more than one language. We believe that the best way to achieve this aim is to offer the children a curriculum that is relevant, challenging and motivating, and to deliver it in a way that requires them to become effective learners. To this end, our programmes are planned and delivered according to the principles of the International Baccalaureate Organisation.

In the Early Years Unit and Elementary School section we follow the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP). The Middle School section currently follows a curriculum based on the Italian state programme, though we strive to maintain the beliefs and values as laid out in our mission statement.

At the heart our philosophy is the IB Learner Profile, a series of characteristics that we aim to develop in all our students.
