The school offers an education that meets and respects the children’s individual needs. It is important that families share the aims and philosophy of our school.

Placement in a particular class or year:

Our school does not “stream” or select pupils, so as a general rule children are placed in a year group or class according to their date of birth.
However, when new students arrive, discussions take place between the parents and Didactic Director to ensure that they are placed in a class that best suits their needs socially, emotionally and academically. These discussions take into consideration the student’s:
Chronological age
Maturity and self-confidence
Reports from previous schools
Knowledge of English and/or Italian

Dates for Annual Enrolment:
Enrolment to Year 1 Elementary and Year 1 Secondary – End January
Enrolment to the rest of the Years - End March

Number of pupils per class:
We allow a maximum of 18 pupils per class (20 in the Secondary School).

In the exceptional case that a class has less than 10 pupils, two adjacent classes may be combined as long as the resulting class remains below 18.
