International Baccalaureate
The International School of Treviso is an IB World School for the PYP.
The International Baccalaureate Organisation is a non-profit foundation founded in 1968 to promote international education. It offers a high quality programme of education that aims to develop intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills that is based on the best practice and educational research from around the world.
The IBO has developed three programmes; the Primary years Programme (PYP), the Middle years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP). The school was authorised by the IBO as a World School in November 2008 and will be regularly inspected to ensure the school maintains its commitment to implementing the programme according to the standards set out by the IBO.
